SPECIALIST AREAS

Dr Revadhi (Rev) Chelvarajah is a Radiation Oncologist at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, with clinical interests in head and neck cancers, hematological malignancies, and the rapid relief of symptoms with palliative radiation.

EDUCATION 

Dr Chelvarajah completed her medical degree at the University of Tasmania, graduating in 2015. She undertook Radiation Oncology specialty training within the South Western Sydney Local Health District in NSW, treating a wide patient and disease demographic. She was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) in 2023.

RESEARCH & PUBLICATIONS 

Dr Chelvarajah has a strong interest in clinical head and neck research, medical education research, and implementation science including knowledge translation. She has presented her research at multiple international conferences and has published research in peer-reviewed journals. Her academic work focuses on improving clinical outcomes, enhancing patient experience, and integrating high-quality evidence into routine radiation oncology practice..

AWARDS & MEMBERSHIPS 

Dr Chelvarajah is an active member of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR), the Trans-Tasman Radiation Oncology Group (TROG), American Society of Radiation Oncology (ATRO) and European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO).
