
Dr Angela Allen
SPECIALIST AREAS
Dr Angela Allen is a consultant Radiation Oncologist at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. She has subspecialty interests in the management of breast cancer and complex cutaneous malignancies.
EDUCATION
Dr Allen graduated from medical school at the University of Queensland in 2006. Her specialty training was undertaken at The Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and she was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) in 2014.
LEADERSHIP ROLES
Dr Allen has an interest in medical education. She has been a Director of Training in Radiation Oncology and is a current member of the Learning Experiences and Outcomes Committee and co-convener of the centralised learning platform for RANZCR. She has served on a number of RANZCR committees including Faculty Council and The International Medical Graduates Committee.
She is a board member of the Australasian Society for Breast Disease, an organisation focused on the multidisciplinary management of breast cancer.

Dr Allen is a member of and The European Society of Therapeutic Radiation Oncology (ESTRO) and Australasian Society for Breast Disease (ASBD).
